Reliable inline and laboratory CT technology
The Royma Story
2013–2014: Foundation and X‑ray expertise
Royma was founded in 2013, initially focusing on the sales and service of X‑ray components for industrial applications. From the beginning, the company built deep know‑how in high‑performance sources, detectors and system integration.
2015–2016: First 2D inspection systems
In 2015, Royma developed its first 2D X‑ray inspection machine for the electronics industry. Shortly afterwards, the company began cooperating with globally leading electronics manufacturers, proving its reliability in demanding, high‑volume production environments.
2017–2019: 3D CT and own software
By 2017, Royma had advanced to the development of its first 3D CT system, including proprietary reconstruction and analysis algorithms. This period marked the transition from component and system integration to a full CT solutions provider with its own software and hardware development capabilities.
2020–2022: Inline CT for battery leaders
In 2020, Royma implemented its first inline CT system at the production base of a global battery leader, enabling fully integrated, automated 3D inspection in mass production. Building on this success, the company continued to expand its independent software and hardware portfolio, refining inline, atline and laboratory CT platforms for different industries.
2023–today: Global expansion and recognition
From 2023 onwards, Royma has actively driven its international expansion, serving customers across Europe, Asia and other key markets. Today, Royma is recognized as an outstanding inspection company, supporting global players in electronics, aerospace, battery manufacturing and die casting with advanced CT‑based quality assurance—and is well on its way to becoming a leading global CT technology player.
