Horizontal CT.

Royma's Horizontal CT systems are the cabinet and room installations of the laboratory: the part rotates on a manipulator between a fixed source and detector, and the operator chooses the scan mode, the resolution and the region of interest. The family covers the full range of sample sizes and materials, from a coin cell on a desktop system to a structural casting in a room installation.

The RMCT1000 puts a 4 µm micro CT on the laboratory bench with one-click imaging. The RMCT2000 resolves detail below a micrometre in its nanofocus mode and switches to a 225 kV microfocus mode for larger samples. The RMCT4000 is the general-purpose microfocus CT with 225 or 300 kV in three cabinet sizes up to ø 575 × 830 mm; the RMCT6000 adds a 450 or 600 kV mini-focus source and a line detector for dense parts up to ø 1000 × 1500 mm; and the RMCT10000 replaces the tube with a 1 to 9 MeV linear accelerator for large castings, thick welds and complete battery packs with loads up to 1000 kg.
